Stolen $ and identity - MSN wouldn't remove change account
Pros: There aren't any
Cons: Slow connection, terrible tech support, and to costly.
Recently some low-life signed on as me, then signed into paypal and stole $1982 out of my bank account. You would think MSN would be happy to remove the sign on name and password, right. Wrong. They refused to lift a keystroke to guard any further theft. You are told you must not use the sign on name for 3 months and it would die automatically. That's great, except the theif may have other ideas about not using my sign on name for that period of time. And if they hacked it once, what's to stop them from finding my new password? I hate MSN. As soon as the contract time is up, I am GONE!! |

Zero Checking Of Sign-Up Users
Pros: NONE

Absolute Garbage .. And try and get them to admit they signed up someone as you without verifying address .. Hopeless .. |

MSN
Pros: DSL is fine
Cons: They're a total rip off
Years ago I had MSN. I called to cancel the account. I was informed I could only call on the anniversary date to cancel, and that I would still be charged for 1 more full month. Others I know have MSN. They want out and are also going through the same thing I went through back in 1996! It's now 2007! Some things just don't change. |

why I'm going to switch
Pros: easy icons and features
Cons: slow & closes down for tech problems
I've had MSN for over 4 yrs and thought some of the trouble was due to shortcomings in my laptop, but recently got a HS connection with ATT and can see videos now. Sometimes my pages loded so slow, one could almost have dozed off--finally came to find out it was an MSN problem--and still I get they "must close now for technical problems". I will be happy to cancel MSN as my ISP and I'll save money too! |
