Remove the additional static IP addresses, or reconfigure the LAN connection for DHCP. See To configure TCP/IP settings.

DUN Error 768 :: The connection attempt failed because of failure to encrypt data Share a tip. Click here.

DUN Error 769 :: The specified destination is not reachable Share a tip. Click here.
Either you specified a destination address that is not valid, or your remote access server is down. Check the destination address and try again.
If you have a cable connection:

1. Make sure the host name is writen correctly.
If it is writen correctly, it might be a resolving issue. Try entering the host's ip number insted of the URL.
If it works with IP then close your Firewall and rewrite the complete URL.
If it fails to connect with the URL again, go to START > RUN > CMD
Now write the following command >
For SP1:
netsh ip int 1.txt reset
For SP2:
netsh winsock reset

click on Enter

Now restart your computer.

2. If the first step did not help, make sure that you got a correct IP number from your infrastracture supplier.

If you have an ADSL

Go to STRT > RUN > ncpa.cpl

This opens up Network Connections.

Right click on your Local Area Connection and then click on Enable.
